The Care Partner We all Wished We Had.

Since her husband Tony’s Parkinson’s diagnosis, Kristine has become a guiding light and an unstoppable force within the PD community. She didn’t let the fear of the unknown paralyze her — even as it shook the world around her. Instead, she jumped into action.
Unshaken and stronger than ever, Kristine not only immersed herself in learning about Parkinson’s for Tony’s sake — she also became an invaluable source of knowledge and support for others navigating the same journey.
Kristine is always on the move: researching, sharing, and connecting. Whether she’s uncovering new tools to help others live better with Parkinson’s or simply offering a few words of encouragement — she’s there. And she doesn’t stop there.
She’s organized and hosted major fundraising events, including the Parkinson’s SuperWalk in both 2023 and 2024, raising over $75,000.00 for research.
Her next big project? Parkinson’s Dinner & Dance—an evening to raise awareness and funds, yes, but also to bring joy to our community. Think: good food, great company, live music, and exactly the kind of “shaking” we actually look forward to.
And still, that’s not all.
Kristine also runs two monthly support groups, ensuring everyone feels seen, heard, and cared for. She checks in on folks, follows up after every meeting, and yes—she even shows up with homemade cookies (which she bakes at 6 a.m. before tackling her busy day as a working mom).
In short, Kristine is a force to be reckoned with. A beacon. An inspiration. Her devotion to Tony and to the Parkinson’s community is nothing short of extraordinary.
She is the care partner we all wish we had — and let’s be honest, she makes the rest of us look a little bad (in the best way).
On behalf of everyone lucky enough to have crossed paths with you, Kristine:
Thank you. For everything you do. And most of all—thank you for being you
